Stonewall top 100 employers – where are the colleges?

Nine universities and 13 county councils have been named on Stonewall’s top 100 gay-friendly employers list. Only one FE college has been named (Somerset College). Why are you not on the list?

Congratulations to all those who took part in the Index this year and well done to those who secured a place in the Stonewall Top 100 Employers list and the Star Performers group.

I know that there is some great work in advancing sexual orientation taking place in colleges and universities – perhaps you did not get included because you did not make a submission? By applying, you can measure your performance and progress against the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index. By participating, you’re actively demonstrating your commitment to sexual orientation equality. Put a note in your diary for next year.
